Uriel Solar is a new start-up company that will manufacture a game-changing thin-film photovoltaic solar panel based on CdTe (Cadmium Telluride), a binary semiconductor that is an exceptional solar absorber. With a novel process (patent-pending), and a unique structure (patent-pending) that is dramatically different from every other CdTe thin-film technology currently on the market, Uriel will redefine commercial solar. This new structure will provide the highest power efficiency, comparable to the highest crystalline silicon efficiency on the market today, with the lowest production cost per Watt of any thin-film competitor.
